Atu XVIII is a genre and literary book review site for everyone who enjoys a good read.
Today more books than ever before are being published. Through the web we can buy almost any book we've ever heard of and have it delivered to our door. We can even save money buying second hand.
Hopefully this literary book review site can introduce you to some good reads you may not have come across before - and warn you away from some stinkers! I'll review what I read and that covers a wide field, both genre and literary criticism. It also means that the book reviews / summaries here will frequently be from the "back list" as opposed to the latest releases.
Please note that I neither read nor review ebooks.
Publishers and Authors: due to other demands on my time I am not currently accepting any books for review. Sorry.

Some sites on book reviews tend to praise everything. That's not my way - the book reviews here are my honest opinion. You may not agree with me, but at least you'll know that I believe what I'm saying.
